History Harvests will enable members of the public interested in lineage, genealogy, and family heritage to work alongside academics to explore and better understand their family inheritances, by bringing their family collections to themed events. These objects will, with permission, be photographed and their stories recorded and displayed on a project website, in order to create a free online resource, with additional guidance on how family members can explore their inheritances. We are currently planning two History Harvests in 2020, one in Adelaide in the Spring on ‘family photographs’, and a second in September in Leeds on ‘family books, bibles and albums’.
